Scholastic Book Fall Fair - November 10-13

National Library Month - Celebrate with movie books! (April)

Wyoming Reads - For 1st Graders (May 2026)This is a statewide event for all first graders. This is a program from the Sue Jorgensen Library Foundation. To learn more about it click here.

Books for Kids is an event where every student at LES receives his or her own book. It is funded through fundraisers and donations and run by school and parent volunteers.

Book Exchange In the fall of 2016, Mrs. Winland's fourth-grade class organized a book exchange for the whole school. Students who brought two books were able to trade them for two new (to them) books. It was a big success.
