Principal's Message

Mr. O'Tremba

Mr. Jensen

My family and I are so excited to be living here in the BigHorn Basin in this truely amazing community.  I would like to thank everyone who has been so welcoming to us since our arrival.

This is my first year at Lovell Elementary and my 14th year as a school administrator. During the course of my career I have been blessed to be an administrator at all levels of public education, high school, middle school, and elementary. Prior to my administrative career I served 13 years as a teacher teaching students in reading, ESL, Spanish, woodshop, typing, and drivers education. I have also spent time as a councilor, technology coordinator, athletic director, football coach, basketball coach, and track coach. In all of these different assignments I sought to live my personal mission statement to “Love, Serve, and Inspire those within my sphere of influence”.

I am married to Holly Jensen and together we have five daughters, two sons, two son-in-laws, and three grandchildren.  I fell for Holly the first moment I saw her and have loved having her by my side over the past 24 years of joy and sorrow, trial and success.  She is the light of my life and my greatest support.

When I am not at school I like to spend time in the mountains.  I am an avid hunter and fisherman. My family and I love hiking and exploring new and unique places.  I am a University of Wyoming graduate (Go Pokes!) and have a daughter who ran for the UW track and cross country team.

I am so excited to work with you this year and to help create a culture of learning that will provide all the children limitless opportunities as a result of the educational foundation we provide them.
