English Language Learners (ELL) are automatically identified as Title I (if they are not already receiving other services) and, among other supports, are placed in Read 180 or other literacy lab as is appropriate to the student. Once they pass the ACCESS*, and if they are at grade-level reading, they may not be placed in an intervention class, but will be watched closely for up to four years.
