Welcome to the District Report Card to the Community!
The District Report Card to the Community is our way of sharing information regarding our students and staff with the community stakeholders. Accountability is a major part of today's educational system. Accountability is the idea of holding schools, districts, educators, and students responsible for results. The results are measured through student performance on assessments. Big Horn County School District #2 maintains accountability through the goals defined in the District Strategic Plan. In addition, accountability measures are defined at both the state and the federal levels. State accountability is defined through the Wyoming Accountability in Education Act (WAEA). Federal accountability is defined through the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). There have been changes to both state and federal accountability requirements. One of the changes is the expanded requirements for the District Report Card to the Community. On this webpage, we have provided documents that inform the public of our efforts to meet state and federal accountability.
